Welcome to our update!
We’re happy to share some details
of how the video series
The Good News According to Jesus
is having a positive impact.
But first, here are a few updates.
As reported in our last update,
in October 2025,
Hurricane Melissa struck
a number of islands in the Caribbean.
In Cuba, the hurricane destroyed
nearly 70 homes of our brothers
and damaged over 600 more.
In addition, there are outbreaks
of multiple diseases, such as dengue,
chikungunya, and others.
Sadly, as of early December 2025,
a number of our brothers and sisters
have died from these outbreaks,
and many more have been infected.
Mosquito nets, bug repellent,
and practical training
on prevention methods
are being provided
by the Disaster Relief Committee
to areas affected by the outbreak.
We dearly appreciate
all those involved in the relief efforts.
We are praying
for our brothers and sisters in Cuba
as well as those helping them
as they endure this difficult time.
We know that Jehovah,
“the God of all comfort,”
will be with those
mourning the loss of loved ones.
Recently, the Governing Body decided
that starting January 1, 2026,
brothers 80 years of age or older
will no longer serve
as members of a Branch Committee.
However, these dear brothers will serve
as consultants to the Branch Committee.
In this way, their experience
will continue to benefit Branch Committees
and the Bethel families.
We deeply appreciate the fine work
of these faithful brothers
and their dear wives.
From December 12-14, 2025,
the first of two special conventions
was held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Over 3,300 delegates
came from nine countries.
The peak attendance was over 13,600.
And we rejoiced to see
136 new ones baptized.
In the coming weeks,
three more special conventions will be held.
At our conventions,
we enjoy warm association
and rich spiritual food.
A highlight of our last two conventions
has been the first three episodes
from the video series
The Good News According to Jesus.
When it was first announced
at the annual meeting in 2020,
there was a lot of excitement.
But some may have wondered,
‛Will it be available in my language?’
With Jehovah’s blessing,
the first episode was initially translated
into some 450 languages.
The Good News According to Jesus
is now available to even more people.
So far, it has been produced
in at least 514 languages!
Over 80 of these languages
previously had no translation
of the Gospels at all!
More than 40 of those languages
are sign languages.
Now the vast majority of people can enjoy
The Good News According to Jesus
in a language they understand.
How are people responding?
Let’s hear from a few.
At the convention,
it was a very heartwarming experience
because it was the first time
that a feature-length drama
was shown with Greenlandic dubbing.
Everyone in the audience was very focused,
and it was all quiet.
I got completely drawn in,
pulled into the story.
Yeah, it was so good.
We invited one deaf person
to attend the regional convention.
He came on Saturday.
However, when he saw
that it was a religious meeting,
he wasn’t very pleased.
But when we told him that there
is a drama prepared in sign language
and that he could just watch the drama
and leave after that, he agreed.
After watching the drama,
he really enjoyed it.
He attended the entire meeting.
When I saw Zechariah and the angel
speaking my own mother tongue,
I actually felt very excited and encouraged.
I even felt that Jehovah
really cares about me.
I said in my heart,
‘This video
was really prepared for me.’
I think this is one of the greatest gifts
Jehovah has given me
since I started serving him.
We rejoice that so many can benefit!
What are some of the personal benefits
our brothers and sisters are enjoying?
One family wrote:
“Thanks to the New World Translation,
we can read the Gospels.
“Thanks to the audio recordings,
we can hear the Gospels.
“Now thanks to
The Good News According to Jesus,
“we can see, hear, and feel the Gospels
like never before!”
A sister wrote:
“I’ve struggled
with low self-worth my entire life.
“Jesus came to earth
as the perfect representation of his Father,
“but when I read the Gospels,
“I always imagined Jesus to be more serious,
“in some accounts even stern.
“That’s how I’ve pictured Jehovah too.
“I’ve tried to imagine what it would be like
to be in those accounts,
“what it would be like
to be in the presence of Jesus.
“Now I don’t have to wonder.
“My Bible reading is now accompanied
by vivid images
“of a loving, compassionate man
“with an inviting smile.
“Thank you for introducing us to Jesus
and, by extension, allowing me
to see Jehovah in a new light.”
I’m sure many of us can relate
to those comments.
The Good News According to Jesus
also created good opportunities
to give a witness.
We’re sure you’ll enjoy
the following experience.
I’d been having really nice
spiritual conversations
with a coworker
who has a real love for the Bible.
I invited her to the convention,
but unfortunately she couldn’t attend.
So I sent her Episodes 1, 2, and 3
of The Good News According to Jesus.
She loved them.
She loved them so much that she
delayed watching Episode 3 for a few weeks
because she didn’t want it to end.
She especially appreciated the fact
that she knew the script.
She could open her Bible
and simply follow along.
I think it’s her appreciation for the videos
that led her to accept a study.
We’ve studied so far through lesson 6
of the Enjoy Life Forever! book.
She’s enjoying her study.
She’s attended two meetings,
which she’s also enjoyed.
And it brings me so much joy
to just see the appreciation that she has
for these beautiful treasures from Jehovah.
What a nice experience!
And just think:
Now when we meet someone who says,
“Jehovah’s Witnesses
don’t believe in Jesus,”
we have a great answer in
The Good News According to Jesus.
Earlier, we mentioned efforts to translate
The Good News According to Jesus
into smaller languages.
We’re also making a special effort
to make the convention available
in even more languages.
Some small language groups
have not been able to have
all three days of the convention.
Often, this was due to a limited number
of qualified local speakers.
As a result, some of these languages
would have only one or two days
of the convention.
To support what the brothers can do locally,
this year a new provision was introduced.
In May 2025,
an English-language
convention was recorded.
Transcripts of the talks were made available
to branches to translate and record them
in smaller local languages as needed.
Branches were encouraged
to include as many live talks as possible.
But if a speaker wasn’t available,
translated recordings could be used
to supplement the program.
Of course, we want our brothers and sisters
to continue meeting together in person
and to hear as many live talks as possible.
But thanks to this loving provision
from Jehovah,
more of our brothers and sisters
can come together
and enjoy all three days of the convention
in their own language.
We deeply appreciate the hard work
of all those who are involved
in producing and arranging
our conventions worldwide.

Your faith will be strengthened
as you see how Jehovah
helped our dear brothers to endure faithfully
for over 26 years in harsh prison conditions.
After watching the video,
no doubt you’ll be moved to do
as Hebrews 13:3 says:
“Keep in mind those in prison,
“as though you were imprisoned with them,
“and those being mistreated,
as if you were suffering with them.”
As of December 12, 2025,
there are 270 brothers and sisters earth wide
who are imprisoned for their faith.
Please continue to pray
for these loyal worshippers of Jehovah.
In this update, wasn’t it heartwarming to see
how Jehovah is providing
for the spiritual needs of people everywhere?
As Psalm 145:16 beautifully expresses:
“You open your hand
and satisfy the desire
of every living thing.”
And we pray for Jehovah’s
continued rich blessing

of The Good News According to Jesus.
